Consideration of SB 36 and SB 64

Senate Bill 36 (Phillips-Hill)—Amends the Dog Law to provide for license fee exemptions for service dogs which are used in the performance of services by a fire department, sheriff’s office or in the performance of rescue services or medical emergency services. Also clarifies provisions regarding the transfer of a dog license.

Senate Bill 64 (Martin)—Amends the Agricultural Area Security Law, further providing for purchase of agricultural conservation easements, for Agricultural Conservation Easement Purchase Fund and for Land Trust Reimbursement Program.
