Senate Agriculture and Rural Affairs Committee to Host Joint Hearing Jan. 10 to Review PA Farm Bill

HARRISBURG – The Senate and House Agriculture and Rural Affairs committees will hold a joint committee hearing on Wednesday, Jan. 10, beginning at 9 a.m., in the Monongahela Room at the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex (2300 N Cameron St, Harrisburg).  

Senate committee leaders, Majority Chair Sen. Elder Vogel, Jr. (R-47) and Democratic Chair Sen. Judy Schwank (D-11), and House committee leaders, Majority Chair Rep. Eddie Day Pashinski (D-121) and Republican Chair Rep. Dan Moul (R-91), will be hearing testimony on the impacts of the PA Farm Bill on farmers and the overall state agriculture industry over the last five years.
